Sixth Grader’s Tikkun Olam Projects Featured on Area News Outlets

NBC News interviewed sixth grader Maya Goldman about her campaign to sew face masks to support two area causes. Maya began by assembling a team and sewing masks that they donated to medical personnel. Now, she is a second phase of her tikkun olam efforts, making and selling face masks and donating the proceeds to a food bank. Check out the story that ran on NBC News.
