Impact of Giving

The arts fund supports learning through the arts and integration of the arts into the curriculum, as well as supplementary programs and trips devoted to music, drama, dance and the visual arts at MILTON. The fund was established in memory of Mara Bershad, an alumni parent and professional musician and music teacher, who believed in the power of music, dance and the arts to enrich life and learning.

This fund supports teacher enrichment through conference attendance and special programming, with the goal of enhancing teachers’ skills and classroom materials. The fund was established by founding parents Fani and Dan Brandenburg to honor the memory of their parents.

The school awards tuition assistance through the scholarship fund to students and families who would otherwise not be able to afford a Jewish education. Donations to the scholarship fund directly support the many families in need. The fund was established to honor former head of school Susan Koss for her contributions to MILTON and her commitment to Jewish education.

The technology fund was established to support the school’s Technology Lab, and help MILTON build and sustain a vibrant technology program with the goal of preparing our students to contribute to a rapidly evolving world. The fund was established in memory of alumni parent Bill Maughan.

This parenting education series is designed to provide parents with an opportunity to come together to discuss parenting and to learn from experts and one another about addressing the challenges of raising happy, resilient and successful children. The series was established in memory of MILTON parent Ari Zymelman.
