SVIVAH’s HerTorah: “Burnout”: Torah for the Tired
Monday, February 6

While it is exhilarating to feel “lit up” and inspired, the truth is that many of us find ourselves burnt out and exhausted. What Torah can speak to us during those times when we feel there is just nothing left in the tank? Join SVIVAH on Monday evening 2/6 as we explore emotional, psychological, and spiritual exhaustion with Rabbi Shira Stutman, Naama Sadan, and Karen Erlichman, D.Min, LCSW

RSVP for Zoom link at www.svivah.org/happenings/hertorah-feb2023
This gathering welcomes women* 12+ and learners of all backgrounds.

*SVIVAH defines “Jewish woman” as anyone wishing to be included in a circle of Jewish women. If you want to be here, we want you to be here.

Special Israel Exchange Opportunity for High School Students – “One2One”

With generous support from the Jewish Federation, a special DMV cohort is coming together in February and March, including several Milton alums, for the “One2One” high school exchange. Run by ENTER: the Jewish Peoplehood Alliance, One2One pairs Israeli and Diaspora high schoolers for a series of virtual “mifgashim,” encounters that stress Jewish practice, a positive Jewish identity and cross-cultural understanding. The program expects more than 4,000 teens to participate this year, and students can earn “service” credit. For more information, please contact MILTON parent Scott Lasensky,  Read more details here. There is NO cost to register, and the conversations are in English, with ample opportunity to practice Hebrew. To sign up, click here.
